Why did you become a mentor?
I see great value in this program continuing and would like to support it in any way I can. Plus it is a lot of fun!
What do you do to help the team?
I help with electronics, programming, and computer stuff in general. Also I help to conceptualize different ways to accomplish the goal of the game.
What is your favorite memory with the team so far?
Being in the finals of our field at nationals!
What is the best part of being a mentor?
I enjoy watching the robot and students progress throughout the build season.
If you had to describe your experience as a mentor in ONE word, what would that word be?

What were you like in high school?
I was the average guy who liked engineering, electronics, and computers.
What background in robotics do you have? (educational, career related, other)
I was a student on the team in 2008. I am currently studying electrical engineering at Purdue in South Bend. Also I am a computer tech with many years experience to trouble shoot problems.
